Object of D.P.M.S. “Sports Communication” (MSc in Sports Communication) is the study, research and provision of postgraduate education in the scientific field of Communication with specialization in the field of Sports. The purposes of D.P.M.S. is:
1) the provision of specialized knowledge in modern interdisciplinary developments in the wider field of Sports Communication and the offering of a high level of knowledge and skills related to this field.
2) The training of specialized graduates with a solid theoretical background, as well as the interdisciplinary ability to deal with complex practical problems in the wider fields of Sports Communication, as well as the utilization of modern digital skills in the relevant individual fields.
3) The promotion of interdisciplinary knowledge and research in matters of modern forms of Communication and dissemination of information in the field of Sports, as well as the preparation of high-level relevant postgraduate theses. 4) The development of critical and research skills required for doctoral level studies. 5) The training of scientists with the required knowledge and skills that will cover the development needs of the labor market and lead to successful careers in the private, public and academic sectors.
